"Can I install bamboo over vinyl tiles on a wood floor?" I hear you ask. To make a long story short, the answer is yes and no, but no mistake! The reasons are few and the exact solutions, since all are based on common sense more than anything else.
So what is the long history? Well, the reason that you can install bamboo flooring vinyl glued on a plywood subfloor is simple. The timber acts as half providing the perfect shock absorption and increases the structural integrity of the entire base of the plant. But? Yes, there is a "but" unfortunately. If the wood is in the best conditions, without nails exposed, loose or rotten borderless, which is almost there. If your vinyl tiles are in the best position, stuck in a uniform, covering all the edges well, without any mold or contamination, you're good to go! But what if that's not the case?
The setting of a vinyl floor to prepare and sub-soil to bamboo flooring that shiny new not take much effort, but it takes careful observation and focus. Are there deep furrows? Any cuts that go all through the vinyl? Loose tiles or maybe places that have sunk in what looks like a shallow hole? Search it to recognize problems with the wood underneath, because if there is a problem, you have no choice but to remove the vinyl and plywood set.

And if you run out of options and complete the removal of vinyl tiles - please, take precautions to avoid contaminating yourself and your house with smoke of asbestos as possible. Can not stress it enough, despite being mentioned all the time. The consequences can be dire, so take your time to test the old vinyl flooring if you're not sure what contains.

I ran about 100 boxes short of finishing my kitchen. Lowes called and they do not carry it anymore. I tried on the internet, no luck. Call the manufacturer and suspended for 2 years. Any leads Cryntel Eurostone 12 "x12" stick vinyl tiles in the pattern of the Stone Regal? Thank you. I'm desperate.
Sorry wish I could help. I also tile floor. It is vinyl and I'm afraid that in a couple of years if it breaks I will not have a place for you either. Maybe you should try Home Depot or Lowe's.
