Travertine tile repair?
We are in the process of installing travertine marble tiles throughout the ground floor. I realized that I already have a tile that is cracked and I would replaced by a new, but can not find a way to do it. I tried a hammer, and do not / do not do anything but bite into the surface. Any suggestions?
You simply need to take a chisel to the edge of the tile. Drive the chisel under the tile and appear, or at least a big chunk of it will. Before setting the new tile scrape the old mortar with a hand scraper or chisel to break also. Make sure you have a clean and pleasant to put the tile new.
If I am using 600 feet of travertine flooring meters for how many of the small tiles on the wall I need?
