Removing Ceramic Tile Mortar

is necessary to save the cement board?

I have Hardibacker cement board down for ten years. Just remove the tile and mortar it for a new mosaic work. Is it necessary recap the joints or if it is stable at this time. The cement board is screwed into place.

Always tape together. acts as an expansion joint. In fact, allows expansion and contraction of the joint. You never see or feel, but it's there. Any questions you can send an email through my avatar and see my grades there. GL
