Removing Ceramic Tile

Is there an easy way to remove ceramic tile adhesive from drywall?

I'm really not a builder and renovations can be done with a hammer and strengthen but it takes a long time how big is the area? if it is small and then do it that way, if is a large area, then it is always faster to take the plaster with a replaster is a brick and plaster or plasterboard?
