plant layout

Recently I was visiting a spare parts big storeroom. Walking through their problems and understanding what it really felt like I was in the local supermarket instead of at the store facility. high technology production that I mean that there are long passages that were not clearly marked, high-use materials were not always near the user's input / output, and there were the boxes in the hallways waiting to be unpacked. To make the whole picture until there was one guy keeping up and down the hall saying, 'Where boards keep the sump pump! .

A few days later I I was watching motorsport on TV and, as always, was impressed with the cold efficiency of mechanical equipment when a car was the subject of fuel, tires, on. etc. Of course, a pit crew is relatively easy, because they know exactly what is required at each visit, but still made me think about how had visited the store (and maybe even your own wine cellar) could be improved and made more efficient.

As with most things in operations, the starting point is to focus on the customer and in this case is keeping customer. Wine

Stores exist to enable parts to be available to the the maintenance team to make its maintenance work. a client of the winery and the customer wants:

Parts available as agreed by the storage policy.

Pieces in the places that the system says they are.

Easy identification of parts and their code (assuming that this must be considered when the part is removed).

Quick and easy retrieval of the pieces.

Most people understand the concepts and relationships between design and workflow, so I will not repeat here, but I must say that a key to the application of these concepts is to ensure that the design works for the client, ie, the maintenance team.

This means that if your store allows direct input by the maintenance team then the design should work for them. Even if you do not allow direct access, the above issues apply, because this is what minimizes the time spent by the maintenance team in the recovery of parts. Too often the stores are set for the convenience of the winery personnel. The workflow is set on the basis of its receipt and no matter parts to maximize the client is sometimes convenient outcome. sacrifice some time warehouse efficiency by improving the time efficiency for the customer.

A couple of other techniques and potential problems are:

Storage elements for a type of machine or installation as a whole may seem like a good idea, but it can also mean that both the use of high and low usage items are stored together. This can lead to storage of other high-use items to a location more optimal because the optimal location is taken for the storage of low use items with high usage items.

Store all items as a whole (eg, bearings) also seems a good idea, but this can be confusing in some places and numbers, improper storage (similar parts in the tray of evil), problems with returns to the store if they are controlled by the store personnel, and, of course, co-location of elements use of high and low, as mentioned above.

So what is your cellar, a stop for F1 or a supermarket?

The more you get to be a pit stop, the less time you have the most productive and your maintenance team will be.

What do you recommend tank design? ?

what design you recommend for a 10 gallon tank how many plants ex. please help! I have a betta and I'm gonna get (a day) a mystery snail gold links with plants and hiding places would be good so that fish that go well with them again the links would be good thanks =)

thus you want live plants or plastic plants? If you want to live, then it needs good lighting and a fluorite substrate.
