Sex was a boutique run by Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne Westwood at 430 King's Road, London.

The store had a green bamboo sign that said the store name "Let it Rock" and the interior was covered logo wallpaper Odeon. He was one of the neo-only Teddy Boy clothing stores and was partly responsible for a revival of Teddy Boy culture. The store sells vests made tailored curtain call, tight trousers and thick soled shoes called brothel creepers. He appeared in various magazines.
In 1972 it was renamed the making Too Fast To Live Too Young To Die and stocked with clothing that evokes early '60s rocker culture. However, the infamous Teddy Boys and rockers were always stealing and theft store and threatening to McLaren and Westwood. Thus in 1974 the store was closed and renamed SEX.

The shirt was a base used Wemblex shirt. McLaren found a warehouse full of these shirts from old stock and used for the first version. Vivienne was the first but hid it thinking that McLaren made fun of her so it turned out that she loved him and told him to do more for the store.
