These are perfect for baking in my RV oven for several reasons:1. The small size makes them easier to store than a large stone.- I kept the hefty box the stones were originally packaged in and place a paper towel btw each stone before placing it in the box. The box of stones fits in a drawer.2. The small size makes placing the individual tiles in the oven easier.- the smaller size makes them quite easy to place in the oven and easy to adjust to fit my needs. I sometimes place the stones on the flat surface on the bottom of the oven ( the flat shelf above the broiler) to produce a more even heat in my oven when baking a pie, cake, casserole, etc on the oven rack.- when baking no knead bread I place the stones on the rack then place my Range Kleen Porcelain 8-1/2-Inch-by-13-Inch Broil & Bake Pan on the flat shelf on the bottom of the oven to produce the steam as is required to get the light crispy crust. The Pan Gripper Deep Dish Model makes sliding the broiler pan out and adding the hot water quickly then pushing the broiler pan back in place fast, easy and safe. When baking a small loaf as I often do, I only use 4 of the stones.3. The small size makes them easy to clean.- The small size enables them to be placed in the sink for a good soaking and they fit into my small dish drainer for a thorough drying.Glad I chose this set of smaller versatile stones over a single large stone.

Baking stones create perfectly-baked foccaccia

Without these clay tiles, the underside of my foccaccie were burning. Now, with them, all sides of the foccaccia are perfectly baked. The tiles fit my oven rack, leaving at least one inch all around for heat circulation. Highly recommended.

Great Product!

These oven tiles are wonderful for making pizza, bread, stromboli, etc. They provide even, radiant heat in the oven and work great with a pizza peel. I had to purchase two sets to get enough surface area to cover a rack. One small downside is the 6" sq size does not fit a conventional oven rack. I tried cutting them myself but if you don't have a tile saw forget it. I ended up taking them to a local tile dealership and they cut them for me for a small fee.

baking aid

My only problem with the tiles is that they don't exactly fit my oven width. I have to stagger them slightly to make baguettes. That said, they DO give an excellent loaf and I like them. I wonder whether I can cut an inch or two off two tiles so that I can get better coverage?

Better for the long run

I searched online for awhile before I decided which play mats to get my twin 6 mos. olds. I picked these because I fiqured in the long run I could use them anywhere and I have heard the smaller ones don't last as long. They are very durable and the colors are attractive to the girls. The only problem I have is that they come in a set of 8 which makes you buy another set if you want to make a perfect square (you need 9). I took other reviews advice and bought them at Sam's club for $21.80 per pack!

funky smell

I don't have any issues with mat other than strong funky smell. I tried to air it for a week, wash with soap and with boiling water. Nothing helped. I am sure smell is not toxic, only somehow whole room started smell like that and I don't like it. I guess it problem with every mat but I still very upset. As far as size goes - one mat contain 8 squires (2 red, 2 yellow, 2 blue, 2 green). So, as appears from one customer image, 4 sets were put together

We bought several packs of these when my girls were old enought to start having tummy time. These are cheaper at Sams Club, thats where we got ours.The color tile part is textured, non-slip and easy to clean. I use Clorox Spray anywhere, just spray it on 1 foam tile at a time and wipe dry with a paper towel. It doesn't absorb moisture which is great.The color side is not as soft as the solid black side but my girls have fallen and banged their heads on it many times when they were first learning to crawl and they never had any problems. If you think its too hard for your baby you can either use the black side or use a blanket.My parents bought some of the foam tiles that have the removable letters in them several years ago, these are WAY better. The letters DO get lost and also wear out easily, plus it is a huge pain in the butt to have to put all the letters back in when you need to have the solid tiles. The tiles have lots of wear as well. My best friend has some solid square tiles similar to mine but they feel cheaper and have several gouges in them(bought same time as we bought these), plus the tiles don't seem to fit perfectly together. My tiles connect together perfectly, there are no gaps what so ever!! My best friend & parents both like our mats better and wish they had these instead...these would make a great baby shower gift, especially if someone has bare floors.We've got laminate flooring in our livingroom and put together 6 pieces to place our girls Jumperoos on. Not only do these protect the floors, they keep my girls from sliding all over(they go crazy in those things) and it also keeps their feet warmer from the bare floor. We've had their jumperoos on these foam mats for well over a year and they don't have indentations or any wear what so ever!We've used these while doing home improvement projects to protect our knees/backs, they work great, especially if you double them black side up...MUCH better than knee pads!!We just recently put a piece of exercise equipment in the living room(one of those crazy Gazelle things you see Tony Little doing on infomercials) I got it from my parents and figured I might actually work out if I can watch TV as I do it so we put 4 of these mats down and voila! I am now exercising daily while watching TV!! My husband had to dissasemble the machine a few days ago and there were no signs of wear or indentations.Anytime we have something that might damage the floor we get out these mats and they do a perfect job. They are so convenient, you can either move them as 1 big piece since they are lightweight and stay together well or you can break them down into individual squares easily...although they stay together well, if you want them to come apart, they do so easily too.What a nice investment, you can use these for your baby and then have them for many other uses for years and years.Oh yea, forgot to mention that the dog & cat like these as well. Both of them have their own beds & both of them are allowed on all of our furniture but they end up laying on these mats all the time. It's funny when our English Bulldog(who we'll just say he likes to eat) he will try to fit himself on a little edge that is sticking out from their jumperoos with most of his body hanging off ; )The list of uses for these mats are endless...These are SO durable. If I were to throw a Twinkie, my Gazelle & these mats in the trash and they went to a landfill, I think in 100 Million years you would find a cockroach working out on the Gazelle that is sitting on these mats. I know what you're thinking "why is the cockroach working out?" Because he ate the Twinkie, of course ; )

Good to use in place of carpet

I bought about 200sq ft of these tiles. I rent my house, so putting carpet in was something that I couldn't do. My whole house is tile, so this was a good solution. My 9month old sits, stands and falls down on these all day long and doesn't get hurt. The price of these online is expensive. I bought these for $20 a pk at a K-Mart. (I live in HI so everything costs more)

GOOD GROUT BRUSH

This grout brush sure beats using a toothbrush!! It has firm bristles, a comfortable handle and it sure cuts down on the back breaking labor of cleaning grout. Wish is had a handle that you could screw an extension into so that you wouldn't have to get on your hands and knees to clean the grout on tile floors. I guess that's just my "old age" and "bad back" talking....but it would sure help! Maybe Oxo is listening...lol.

Great for tile flooring!

I ordered this Oxo grout brush to go with the Eureka Environ steam floor cleaner, but the brush came first, the steam cleaner took a month to arrive and still hasn't been used. I have been using the brush on grout and dirt on my tile floors (living, dining, kitchen and hall). The tile is rough textured and was hard on my nails when I tried scraping stuff off, but this little brush is doing a great job! I have an Amazon parrot and her droppings were very hard to get up off the rough tile and grout. I am so glad I bought this brush! It's great and so far isn't showing any sign of wear. My nails and paring knives thank Oxo for making the brush and Amazon for suggesting it when I was ordering the steam cleaner.

I have used this for about a year and it is holding up really well; a good sign for any cleaning brush. I used to struggle with a plastic scouring pad becaused I didnt know a cleaning tool like this was available. My wife found it on line. I first tried an old toothbrush to clean the grout between our floor tiles--it worked , but was a LOT of work. This brush made it so much easier. Won't ever try to clean grout again without it!

we purchased a floor steam cleaner which does a great job on the tiles, but can't get the grout. This brush does clean the grout very well, in a short time.It is constructed well, and designed well, so the hand doesn't get tired.

Looks great!

I used these tiles to cover the "toe kick" undernath our cabinets to match our stainless steel appliances....they were so much cheaper than buying cut-to-order stainless steel strips. They look awesome! They were a breeze to put on and cut. There are 24 tiles in a pack and they cover a lot of area and stick on with very strong backing pieces, but the instructions note you can use tile mortar as well. I highly recommend these for anyone doing a kitchen upgrade. They really do look like expensive steel tiles.

Aluminum wall tiles

These tiles installed very easy. They also cut well with a regular scissor for fitting. I used them around a stainless steel laundry tub and are an excellent product for that purpose. They wipe clean with ease. Years ago I had installed them behind a kitchen stove and they looked good and lasted years for that purpose. My personal taste is to install them in a checker board design and they work well that way or in the diamond shape as shown.

great project, few skills needed

I enjoyed working with these tiles for my kitchen backsplash. It was easy to install them-I was intimidated about making cuts on traditional wall tile to accomodate my wall outlets- but these tiles can be cut with sturdy kitchen shears. I would probably invest in tin snips if I did another project with them just to save life of my good Kitchenaid Shears. The finished look is very nice. I knew from scrapbooking I would not like working with these two sided tabs-I find them frustrating to peel, but these weren't too bad. I supplemented the tabs with the dab of construction adhesvie everyone else recommended. I almost wish the tiles were a little bit thicker and heavier looking is all. Even though they are thin, they don't look cheap. I had trouble maintaining my pattern-alternating the brushed aluminum tiles to achieve the checkerboard appearance. In my kitchen lighting I couldn't tell which tile was facing which way. My solution was to lay them out on my dining table and then label the backs, then take them into my kitchen 3 at a time to install. I used the square pattern, or checkerboard, just to keep it simple and not worry about uneven argyle pattern. All in all, I'd say these were a cinch, even for impatient people like me who don't care for painstaking, fussy tasks.

well built, hardy and the handle is situated so you can get some effort onto whatever you are trying to brush/scrub if needed. Hard to beat. I should mention that the location of the handle keeps the stuff you are cleaning off your hands unless you are really messy...

great effect on the wall , I ordered the black squares , it attached very well to old ceramic tiles but not good to regular walls so be sure to order some liquid nails in case , you can't see the difference between the real tiles and this one , good product !.

Gorgeous!!! - Great Value

I purchased the brushed aluminum titles to install at my mother-in-law's house. After I finished installing them at her house, which by the way was a snap, I now want to install them at my house.I had read other customer reviews before I purchased the tiles and used a suggestion from them and added a dab of liquid nails to the back of each tile, in addition to the double-sided foam. They may have been just fine without the liquid nails, but now I know they are there to stay.I also had read they were easy to clean and so that too is a plus. Since I just installed them, and not at my house, I will have to wait to confirm the easy to clean aspect. But other than that the tiles look very sophisticated and by alternating the grain you get a very subtle effect which I happen to prefer.I had priced other back-splash options before I settled on this one and they were a lot more expensive and didn't look as nice. I would highly recommend these tiles.

Great product!!

We ordered the brushed aluminum tiles for the backsplash in our new kitchen. I can't believe how much they brighten up the room; they catch so much light and are just gorgeous! I have had them up for 4 months and there's not a single scratch or smudge anywhere. I highly recommend using another adhesive in addition to the 2 sided foam tabs they come with (thanks for that advice from several other reviewers!). I have posted pictures of our kitchen so you can what the project looks like finished, under customer images. These were so easy to intall. I did it myself using liquid nails and heavy-duty scissors.
