Hardwood floors in kitchen - matching with existing wood floors?

I redo my kitchen and I was probably going to put tile floor (where there is currently linoleum). I'm worried that the tile will be too cold. Not I think I'm willing to go along the coast of underfloor heating. I have a 1966 house with oak flooring normal red (over my house) that almost all households of the time ha. It would be strange to put a different type of wood flooring in the kitchen that appears in the rest of the house? I guess "I'm asking for a design perspective interior. I feel comfortable and go with the tile that looks like a conventional thing to do. It would be strange to put a little wood floors in a kitchen? If not, what style, the kind you recommend?
