Use it everyday

I use this everyday to weigh portions for our diet and while it serves its purpose, the marks could be a bit bigger. I have a hard time seeing the tiny ounce marks on the scale. The bowl is NOT dishwasher safe! Do not try it, it will warp. Thus my reason for the 4 stars!

Very nice to stand on

I love the mat. It is extremely comfortable to stand on. The only issue at all is that I sometimes catch my foot on the edge of the mat, but I think I'd do that with any mat. It's just something you need to get used to. The mat does lay totally flat.

greatest cushion for kitchen

I have tried all varieties of floor mat cushions for the kitchen and these mats are the very best. They do cost a bit more but you will never have to buy another one. they clean beautifully. I am glad my husband found these and insisted we get them!! Judy Grieve

Could be a good product but doesn't hold up well. It already has a small area that has a rub mark and a perm indented place. Would not rec wearing shoes on it. Have to be very careful with it. It is wonderful to stand on though. Does help your back and knees. Just not very durable.

basket weave pattern splits open after year

I have a 3' and a 6' mat, both the basket weave pattern which was the only one available when we purchased them at a local store.Yes these mats are very comfortable and I love how they feel, but the weave pattern started to separate after a year.And the edges all curled up.Because of the splits in the mat, by year 2, water must have seeped in when hand washing them and now there is mold all over the bottom of the mats, transferring itself to the tile floor.But I like these mats and will look for a different pattern, maybe one that does not have openings that will split open like the basket weave.The warranty is very short and the problems will appear after the warranty is expired. Even within the warranty period, you have to pay shipping both ways. Terrible policy.Addendum: I was contacted by a representative of the company who expressed concern for my problem with the mats. I told her that I never contacted the company because the short, imo, one year warranty period was over. And I was not about to pay shipping costs to return these heavy mats to you. I also told her that we have replaced them with Imprint by Sublime Anti Fatigue Comfort Mat, Nantucket Series which are as soft, much lighter to lift, cost less and have a 7 year warranty.She did explain that they have found the cause of the edges curling up but had not experienced the splitting along the lines of the basket weave pattern. She wanted me to return the mats so they could be inspected.I was sent prepaid shipping boxes to return the mats and my money was refunded (less sales tax). Since these mats were well out of their warranty period, I consider this to be excellent customer service.

When I bought this, it was my third attempt at any polder ladder. This was third item to come in with rusty spots. The J & R Music accepted the return with no problem. Great company to deal with.

3 step folding chair

This chair is really nice, very sturdy. The only problem I have is that it is too heavy for a kitchen stepstool. I would recommend this stepstool if you do not mind the weight.

Sturdy but Heavy

My husband really likes this step stool since it holds 250 lbs. However, I found it to be much too heavy for everyday use (I am 5 ft, 110 lbs). Also the surface of the steps are plastic and hard, but in the picture they look like they could be a squishy material. Overall seems like a good deal, but you better be strong.

Wow- this thing is heavy!!

this step stool looks great on the web.... I had a costco branded one that fell apart literally-- so Iiked that this one was load rated and seems to look nice enough. Unfortunately, when it arrived (it took a month BTW) it was so heavy that my wife and my son could not reasonably lift it and move it around safely.... step stools are presumably for people on the small side to reach stuff that is on the high side, so a product made from a light weight material is called for, not so for this one. I order 95% of my "stuff" from Amazon/ web but this is the kind of thing one should go to a retail store for I think...

Nice looking, a bit big for closet use

This teaches me to read the description clearly & carefully. When looking at the picture, thought the blue steps were rug like material, so thought this would be a perfect addition for my bedroom closet.It's vinly, and it's clearly written on the site, my fault for not reading. This is good quality, the rubber feets don't just fall off, very sturdy made. A bit heavy for carry around, especially for girls. Was hoping my wife would quit bugging me to get the top shelve items from the closet with this stepper, but because it's so heavy, she still bugs me about it. That's why I had to take off a star from the rating... didn't solve my problem.

I love this little mortar and pestle set so much that I can easily overlook it's drawbacks.First, I don't often use one for every-day cooking, so it's not constantly getting scraped-up, banged around, and scrubbed.Second, I don't have a large family so the size is not an issue when I do use it. It's perfect for my needs, and an eye-catching addition to my kitchen decor.For someone whose needs are greater, this may not be the way to go. It is small, and gets scratched-up easily.

Jar developed a thin crack line in a few months

Only after a few months the glass jar developed a thin crack line. I called the services line but was told the jar is not covered by the 1 year warranty. This never happened to me with other brands. I guess it's time to me saying good bye to all Oster products.

Poor construction on parts

After reading mostly positive reviews I thought I would give this blender a try. Very quickly the sealing ring was shredded which other reviewers had mentioned happened to them as well. Now the plastic base is now cracked once again rendering the blender useless. In six months time, with limited use I wouldn't expect this poor quality from a blender that isn't cheap. I also don't like how the glass pitcher doesn't attached securely to the base. It will turn when the blender is on. You have to hold it in place. This one is being returned and I am trying a new blender.

Good product, but got the wrong model

The blender is very good. However, it is not the one I ordered. I ordered the designer series, and they sent me the classic one. I did not return it because did not want to go throught the trouble. The classic works fine, but it is not that good if you plan to use it with frozen things, like frozen corn. For everyday blending it does a good job.

LOVE this blender!

I have been making smoothies with this blender for about a month now and I make around 3-4 smoothies a week. It is great! The bottom part is heavy and durable and the top glass part is very sturdy. My frozen fruit and ice smoothies are very smooth and delicious. I don't have any complaints yet!

Very powerful -- Easy to clean

I was looking for a blender with a lot of power and no hard to clean nooks and crannies. This blender serves my needs very well. I use it for green smoothies and frozen drinks. The Oster ice crusher blade is excellent at crushing ice and frozen fruit. The motor is extremely powerful, the smooth chrome body and sturdy glass jar are easy to clean. I am not worried about any electronics failing, because it has one simple toggle switch. I consider this machine a very good value.P.S. Sorry Vita-mix, I won't be spending $500 just to make green smoothies : )
