I my newly remodeled bathroom, and shower keeps the obstruction. I tried to snake the drain, but it seems to always give a "wall" and will not move over. It is a great possibility that the contractor left discarded on the grout down the drain. Not interested in the extraction to the floor to remove the pipeline, it expected a cost effective solution. When poured down the drain leave the room immediately and close the door back in about 10 minutes, turning water into the drain of a wash. Please make sure to reach someone who has had experience with this type of acid. Hydrochloric acid is widely used in the work of cleaning and removing the grout. What I try is to get the contractor back to his place and he do it for you. That's the least we can do for you. If I am afraid he will not have to do the job.
