How to remove ceramic tile from plaster walls?

I want to remove the ugly ceramic tiles on the walls of my bathroom. I do this without destroying the drywall underneath. What is the best way taking them off? Is this going to be a "great" job? Thanks in advance!

Gypsum indicates an older home. My guess is that the tile also rises about a half inch above the surface of the wall and there is a beautiful mosaic bull nose that curves toward the wall. If I am right so far, then there plaster in most of the tiles. Back in the day, granted lathe plaster to just below the top of the tile would then be cast only that. Then, the underwriters of soils attach a heavy steel mesh as the rest of the way down and mortar strike on the top to create a suitable support for the tile. When you go to remove the tile that will come out with great difficulty and in large pieces due to the steel mesh, which incidentally is nailed to the studs. Indeed, the tile that can paint or new tile can be installed on it.
