Installing ceramic tile?

I will be installing ceramic tile in the small basement bathroom myself. We have the pottery in the lobby, lounge, kitchen and bathroom other builder and have never had any problems in the past 5 years we have had. However, I keep hearing that the ceramic tiles with 'reduce' and looked terrible again. When and how this happens and how can I prevent this from happening again in the installation?

I doubt the same will be reduced mosaic more likely that what is meant is that the grout between the tiles to dry up and appears to have decreased after injection of the tiles using a grout sealer. Can be purchased where you buy the boxes. Some sealers recommend applying the sealer every year. So read the recommendations manufactuers. I just used a can sealer aerosol. Applied two coats and I was quite pleased with the ease of application.
