Many cement floor seals are saturated fatty acids absorbed in the soil pores. These stamps of saturating floor type can work well in some but not all, situations. Looking through a microscope can reveal how porous a concrete floor can be. Saturating immersion type seals the pores and then harden, thereby pore level with the surrounding cement.
