How do you plant in a long tiled corridor 22x4ft as a way to az?
how one thinks of a tile floor long corridor 22x4ft as how az is 6x4 then 6x4 then 13x4 then 10x4 az kind of run, where would the best place to begin or how I would plan it out to get the lease amount of cuts.
Draw a line through the center of the longest section. Measure the walls in each section, and adjust the line as necessary to remove any reductions that are less than 6 ". You will have to cut tiles the wall, but do not want splinters. Hope this helps.
What level of a mosaic floor when you sit on the top floor beams than the others.?
I'm trying to put the tile in a doorway and adjacent bathroom. About 3 feet from the front door is a beam that is about ΒΌ inch above the rest. As a result, there is a steep slope in the sub-floor between the joist and beams on both sides of the same. The beams parallel to the front of the house and the wall dividing the room bathing the rest of the entry. However, because this beam provides about 1 inch away from the bathroom wall about half of its length is difficult to access the sub-soil, in this section. In addition I have tile on both sides of the wall that separated them. In the time thinking it would be better to break the soil around beam and the plane of the upper beam to the level of the beams in the vicinity. But the proximity of the beam to the wall of the bathroom are made of this complex. Auto-leveling cement also crossed my mind, but I think it is a much weaker solution. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. JC.
JC, I'm assuming that any height added is an issue .... One possible cause just occurred to me, this bathroom wall actually be pulling the beam and floor to ... maybe you can use the wall [fit between the bottom plate and subsoil] to separate the wall from the floor and beams down disk ... You can reach it from below? If so, you can cut the bottom of the beam in one or two spots to let it calm down and then the sister of a beam line at the side. There are several variations of these methods, I think. One is to cut wood along both sides of joists, plywood, remove the top of the joist. Left plywood and bolt level "books" on the sides of the beam bear left edge of plywood. if working from below, it is not possible, brushing from the top is probably your best idea.
