I tile vinyl tile placed on a ceramic former. There are small areas where the soil pattern of age can be seen bewteen the tiles. Can I use a little putty to fill in areas to hide in the floor of old shows?

Yes you can, but make sure it is 100% silicon, or you can get moldy. They do putty color that may work better to match your tile.
