Cutting Ceramic Tiles

What is the lifespan of 7 1/4" diamond blade when wet cutting ceramic tiles?

I seem to be getting about 300 linear feet out of my blades. This doesn't seem like much at $50 a blade.

That sounds about average, from contractors that come into the company I work for. There are things to help extend the life such as completely cleaning the blade(at least wiping it off very well), at the end of each use and one of the guys recommends to cut say 10 linear feet and then let the blade rest for about 15 minutes or so, while either setting the previous cut tiles or doing something else. The blades do tend to be on the high $ side. Don't know which brand you are using, but the guys here prefer either Makita, Pearl or Target Blades.
