My mom wants carpet in her bathroom?

My mom just moved to a smaller house, which is wonderful for her. Except that the bathroom has a ceramic tile floor, which she hates. They are a slip hazard, and if she were to fall, they are pretty hard, so I worry about her safety. They are also really cold in the winter.

The shape and layout of the room would make using those washable bathroom throw rugs impossible.

They actually make a rubber backed carpet designed to use in bath rooms. Comes in rolls 6 ft wide to fit most bath rooms.
You can cut it with a good pair of scissors . These are made to be able to take them up and wash them on occasion to keep things sanitary.
