The Last Resort

If nothing above seems to work, you can always replace the existing grout new things. Removing old grout can be done with any high-tech tools dremel, or a low-tech, can opener. Anyway, just be careful not to damage the existing tile. Then replace with new grout according to manufacturer's instructions.

Broken but still good

The only other major problem with ceramic tile countertops is if the tables become cracked or broken. We hope that you or your installer were sufficiently smart to keep some additional replacement boxes lying around. Then it's just a simple case of replacing the tiles. If not, then perhaps the center of origin still has its specific tile, or maybe they have some of them with odds and ends of previous work.
