Sturdy stand

This stand came flat packaged with a minimal amount of assembly. The legs have a clear finish that will repel water, it would have been nice if the masonite support piece would have had the same.Some additions I would have liked. 1. Feet levelers. For placement on a tile floor, this would have eliminated any rocking (which makes one uneasy when there is a full 5 gallon bottle on top)2. Holes pre-drilled for assembly. There is a long screw that connects the 2 halves together. Because it is solid wood, I was fearful of cracking the piece, so I predilled the hole myself.3. A small bottle of glue (or instructions to glue) the dowels into the legs of the assembly. This would make the stand a lot more stable to eliminate any rocking on the legs. I glued mine and it is rock solid now.Otherwise, a great stand for the price.

Good Foundation

This is an attractive stand that supports a ceramic water crock. There isn't too much to say about it. It seems fairly sturdy and does the job.My complaints with it are two and they are minor. I would like adjustable feet. The floor in my house isn't level, so I'd like to be able to make adjustments so that it can sit without rocking. The second is with materials. It contains particle board (masonite) and water-based glue. I'm not sure how well these will handle getting wet -- a real danger with this type of equipment.

Shipping was super fast. And this products works great for laminate wood floors. We have really stubborn wax buildup on the laminte in the house we just moved into. With a microfiber cloth attached to a swiffer and using this stuff we were able to get the floor cleaner then with all of the other stuff we have tried.

This ceramic heater was too big for use as a "table top". The photo that is shown with this heater used as a table top next to a lap top is misleading! Also, it's very loud. There were 2 settings. Lo and Hi. Both were equally loud. Lastly, the product looked cheap...for the price that was paid.

I owned a Hoover Floormate many years ago; but when I moved it did not come with me. Loved it and missed it. I believed that it was no longer being made. In checking google, lo and behold found it alive and well. ordered one asap and love it love it love it.

Great cleaner!

I love the smell of this product and the way it - and my FloorMate - clean my floors! About once a month I use the Floor Mate with little or no solution to remove any residue build-up, but WITH the cleaner my floors always look great and even my dingy grout is getting cleaner after every wash! It doesn't remove set-in bad stains in the grout but it has lightened them...my grout is badly stained and I'm told probably nothing will clean it completely (this works better than even soft scrub and murriatic acid have worked in the past).

Last year I obsessed about cleaning my tile. It turned out that it wasn't the tile that was dirty, it was the grout!After researching everything I could get my hands on, questioning all my friends and neighbors, I tried everything that was recommended. Most took lots of scrubbing or they just didn't work. I wanted something that worked, didn't stink, and didn't leave dangerous chemicals that might harm my pet.This one does take a little scrubbing, but works really well. I haven't found anything I like better.

Nothing in a Bottle

Used as directed with FloorMate. Also used directly on grout with a brush. Used it full strength, used it diluted. Even let it stay on grout for about 15 minutes. No one of those methods did anything!! Save your money. You'll get as good results using almost anything else. Perhaps most disappointing product I've used in 10 years.

I purchased this grout cleaner after trying several products to get crayon out of the grout on my kitchen floor (my 2 year old decided to color the floor when I wasn't looking) and of course, I had to get on my hands and knees with a brush, but with warm water and this product the crayon came out! I was disappointed when Wal-Mart decided not to carry this product anymore. I have been looking around for it but haven't found it at all, the price I originally purchased it for around $4.89. It's a great product and well worth the price, when you consider it restores your grout to looking like "new" again.

Perfect for office

I bought this heater after reading reviews on Amazon and other websites. My office is too cold. If I wear a skirt in the summer, I have to go outside to warm up every couple of hours. I needed a heater that is small and quiet enough that nobody would notice when I hide it under my desk. This is just the perfect one! It is not bulky at all, and the noise level is well below my expectation. I can only hear it working if I put my ear within 1 feet of it. Otherwise, complete silence in my office. Very happy with my purchase so far. Don't know about the quality yet, but I hope it will last a while.

only good for personal heater

Don't buy this Sunpentown SPT SH-1507 if you are using it to heat an area its only good for personal heater. Heat comes out ok but very poor projection only 2ft after that you can't feel anything. Using this unit in 10x12 bathroom it does not do the job at heating it you can't even feel it unless you are next to it. Not what I expexted, I don't understand why so many people rated this high.

Modern design with good performance

Yes, it is smaller than you would think, noted by other reviewers. This unit would be most appropriate for heating a small space. I use mine in a large drafty master bath that is always cold. Sometimes I will take it with me to the family room to use as a personal heater near the chair I am sitting in. It just isn't big enough to heat a large room, which is fine for my purposes. I just wanted to be able to heat up the immediate area so I wouldn't have to turn up the heat for the entire house.I really like the air filter, the fan only setting (should be useful when the weather gets warmer), the oscillation on/off button, and two heat settings. Two improvements I would like: ridges on the knob so it was easier to turn, and the exact same design in a larger model. This is one of the more contemporary designs I could find for the price. It doesn't look cheap like many other plastic heaters do. Once I took it to yoga class (the heat in the building was out)and everyone was commenting on how cute and nice looking it was. It does have an indented handle on the back so you can easily and safely pick it up to move around.As far as safety goes, it really does stay cool to the touch. I have had it running full blast, turned it off and then immediately touched the the heat output area. I found it comfortable to touch, barely warm. Obviously I wouldn't do that while it's running, as the air coming out is what is hot. I have kids and pets and I consider this very safe. It has the little pressure button on the bottom that shuts it off if it tips, or even if it looses contact with the floor if you happen to tilt it while moving it.

Best purchase I've made in 2010

I LOVE this little heater. I live in St. Pete Florida and needed a space heater for the unseasonably cold weather that we had here. I live in a 650 sq. foot, poorly insulated, garage apartment, and this heater really saved the day when it was in the 20's and 30's outside. We ran only this heater and not our central heater, as the latter costs a fortune and does very little in the way of actual heating. The space heater was used mostly in one large room that comprises about 40% of our apartment, and also in the bedroom which is about 25%. In the bedroom with the door closed this sucker kept it quite warm, even on low (and the bedroom is like 15x13 feet). Granted it takes an hour or so to heat the whole room, but it worked great (so great that we had to shut it off in the middle of the night because we were sweating under our heavy comforter). In the large room, the heater did an admirable job and kept it bearable throughout the cold spell (and that large room has so many drafts it's like all of professional sports combined). Now, with the weather more temperate (40's and 50's) this little heater heats whatever room I'm in without a problem. I love the high and low settings and the fact that the high setting draws only 1200W (as opposed to 1500W for most space heaters). The unit is quite small and no part of it is too hot to touch at any time. It is a breeze to move from room to room. This heater would be a good choice for anyone with children or pets, as it has a knockover shut-off. It is very quiet (though not silent as some have said). In a room with any ambient noise, you're not likely to hear the heater. In a quiet bedroom it sounds like (surprise) a small fan. There are some days when it sounds a little bit rough on startup, but this noise goes away within a minute or so. My unit has held up great (I've had it for a few months now and ran it 24 hrs a day for weeks), but I am very careful not to knock it or use it in a humid area (like a bathroom). I could see this heater breaking if it is knocked over or hit against something while moving it between rooms. Also, I take care to hold the heater with one hand whenever I turn the on/off knob with the other hand, because the knob takes a good bit of torque to rotate. If I were to turn the knob without holding the heater I would be twisting the whole heater on its base which could potentially damage the oscillation feature. With proper care this heater seems like it will fare well. For me, this heater was a great buy. It was relatively inexpensive, it is small and easy to store, and it puts out an admirable amount of heat for its size. I wouldn't rely on it to bring a large room up to a short sleeve and shorts temperature in the dead of winter, but it will definitely take the edge off the cold. In a closed room this heater will bring the temperature up nicely. Amazon, as always, was a pleasure to deal with. Oddly, the manufacturer's packaging looked like it had been opened and re-taped, but the interior packaging appeared factory fresh. I guess it could have been opened and re-sealed, or the Sunpentown factory just tapes up their boxes sloppily. Either way, the heater is great, and I am quite pleased.
