Granite is a material that is the favorite of my property better than us when it is a kitchen countertop and for obvious reasons: it looks great, durability and resistance outstanding. Kitchen is a place where durability is to be combined with a friendly atmosphere to make the time spent there enjoyable.

Some facts about granite
The granite has not been seen or worked on until about 1800 when it was discovered. In the granite of about 1850 caught the eye of the world, when a polished piece led to the display at an exhibition in London and soon became a fashionable material for use on floors and countertops.

At first, only the very rich could afford the precious material, but eventually became available for the rest of us, even if it is still very expensive.

Granite is as hard as diamond which means it can not be starched or cutting with common tools such as a kitchen knife and that is another reason why the granite is a favorite when it comes to counter tops.

Even though granite is an extremely resistant material that can be chipped if you not take proper care in the same way, I recommend that this is not any rough granite just because it is, but take care that is usually taken for any kitchen countertop cleaning regularly and repair as and when necessary.
