Where to buy laminate for countertops?

Where can I purchase laminate for countertops? I've got a rather odd laminate pattern on a countertop in my house and I'd like to replace it with something that looks a bit easier on the eye. I just want to buy the piece of laminate to cement glue onto my existing countertop - I don't want to buy a whole new countertop to install with the laminate pre-glued onto it. Where can I order just the laminate piece?
The existing laminate is only on the top of the countertop - the front edge is a finished wood that slopes down thats been painted to match the cabinets below, and there is no backsplash type thing. I'm willing to take my chances that removing the piece that is on top now - or even just sand blasting it down so that new cement glue will grip it - will be worth it.

The ;local big box stores carry a limited supply on hand. Counter top shops and some cabinet places carry the whole gamete on large key ring type holders. Cabinet and counter top places will carry several hundred selections.
