What can I use to clean grout lines from my ceramic tile floor in my kitchen?
I had a 12 'x 24' kitchen and ceramic tiles are 12 "x 12" square. The color of the grout is used originally white or cream. Now is BLACK grout lines in the dirt so much - sounds disgusting! I want to be able to apply some type of chemical (or whatever) that is a sure way of "lifting" out all the dirt without killing my knees and back for 16 hours of work to accomplish this? I tried many different products for cleaning grout and floor cleaners others and nothing seems to work. The final solutions fire safe? The ceramic floor was professionally installed approx. 3.5 years ago and was very nice once upon a time - I want to surprise my wife with a real Super Clean GROUT AND LINES OF CERAMIC FLOOR before Christmas ......... Any suggestions that are tried and true???? Many thanks!
not the only way to get their black grout lines really chlorine. Grout is a porous material and was not sealed or have the wrong thing to clean cleaner floors and ate the sealant. Either way is to solve the problem is to use bleach. It will hold its color well ... i would take a bottle of Javex spray some water to put pressure on the grout lines and let sit for 5-10 minutes then brush again with a nylon bristle brush and then clean repeat until it is white .... this part is very important. when it has cleaned out the chemicals and grout is bone dry seal your grout properly. He recommended that a sealer is a penetrating sealer and ask about a cleaner appropriate for use with sealant. I know that the building line of custom products Resealer that has a cleaner that can be used with cleaning products that you reseal as Clean .... than ... should remove the grout and it would regrout much more work. notice a degress or what not, will not work because it absorbs into the grout and the grout will soak up. Bleach is not a sollution guaranteed, but is the only thing that really works without removing the grout and regrouting as I said.
