Bathroom Renovation - ripping out?
Hello, My boyfreind has had to go over seas to work for a year or two, and he ran out of time to the bathroom. The floor is rooting and needs to be replaced. We have a new shower and could buy another bathroom too. The room is dragging a bit, but lots of anything important. To help keep the cost because I wanted to try to get something from the outside of the list so that someone knows what their doing to just being able to go in and do it. can anyone suggest websites or tips on how to do it. The bathrooms are a rather important. Believe me, I'm in my third bathroom now and have a year to do everything. Luckily for me, I'm borrowing the boys bathroom. There is no easy way to get the wall tiles, must break with them, easier to do when you rip both tiles and plaster by hand. Finding a non-place of studs, make sure you are sufficiently high to be reached no cables or pipes with a hammer blow to make a hole, put your hand in there and draw pictures and drywall once, much easier than trying to do one by one. For floor tiles, you have to pull them off using the lever. one by one. Once done, you can take off the ground using the hammer and lever and discard it. A very tedious and hard work. If the toilet flange is in the upper subsoil will have to chip wood around with a chisel and a hammer to get rid of all the wood under the clamp. Do not break the flange. Check your main floor to make sure it is not rotten. If yes, then you need to cut out rotted sections using a circular saw to fine tune the depth of the main floor.
