What natural stone I put in my bathroom?

I am my bathroom completely remodeled and, fortunately, have access to great discount natural stones and tiles like granite, marble, onyx, travertine, tile and what not (no glass tile Tho) .... I have to decide by Monday what I do since I have a contractor coming .... It's bath complete, however, is relatively small in size .... I have my beautiful black vanity area outside the glass bowl and an absolute black counter. I was thinking putting absolute black 12x12 tiles on a floor, but have no idea how to do shower? What would you like tuna with black granite? I was thinking of a mosaic onyx on the floor of the shower and maybe honey Onyx on the walls??? Also the paint looks good??? I'm looking for something modern, Sharp and simple in form .... Please help ....

Granite and marble terribly slick with water (unless you continually apply protective coating). Black will show water spots and sand / dust as grazy. Once placed in a sink black with black kitchen appliance and regretted the sink of the second day. I would not use otherwise all black if your tile floor will be black. Black tile is different from the natural stone black. Use only black as an accent wall in the bathroom and shower floors. If you are picking floor tiles Going larger than 12x12, and stayed in diagonal: makes the room look bigger and the border changes to outlines will not be noticed. I have done several homes now the diagonal arrangement and everybody likes that style is mosaic, but now I would like to use as an accent so it does not get dated too early. Tavertine always is a classic and not too expensive and comes with trim and various mosaic patterns strips.It is well on abuse of water. scale, and soap.It must also be sealed, but not stain like marble and granite. Loved it a look I saw in a bathroom in the shower was part of the wall around out in various shades of mosaic narrow (small tavertine CUT rectangle) as the rain, darker on top fading to light (Bigge makes room for since the eye pattern is attractive tohigher) You can combine black and honey (honey is my favorite "neutral" color for today) in different shades of black / gray / honey tiles to get the rain effect, then Finish the bottom with a honey color tavertine. for the shower floor using a small pattern tile same floor. Tavertine and see the blackboard so well together. check if you have access to tiles natural slate that gose with black and honey. With the score, as with any other surface in a BA, you should check to slip on the wet surface and how raw the surface for bare feet. Tavertine Flats, and slate shower would look great. Of the board of BA on the ground may be too harsh. A BA with a small vanity black, I would not put too much dark tones there. otherwise it looks too dark. I made a chocolate bath black / honey and white - everyone loved it. if you can use white in BA - which is a good color contrast. For a sleek modern look that should not have too many colors more than the 50 or 70 of the LSD. The colors less dominant themes that brought long-term (tile), you can change the appearance of being accessories to change. Black-honey-(not) white is very classic and neutral, you can add colors to that.

Instead of spending tons of money on prefabricated wooden vanity .. I would find a piece of furniture you like in the right color and have the plumber turn in a vanity.
