This is the Havana metal and tile serving tray. It measures 15 x 8.5 x 2 and the handles rotate up and lie flat when not being used. Tile painting is a traditional Chinese craft with a 2,000-year history. Every art tile from Wind River is hand-painted by highly skilled craftspeople, then kiln-fired at high temperatures with brilliant colors, complex glazes, and unique textures. The artistic process is painstaking and time-intensive - and the results are, quite literally, works of art. Wind River 11x14" tiles can be hung on a wall using the built-in hook on the back, or placed on an easel on a tabletop or the floor for display. While we recommend that the tile be used indoors and for decorative purposes only, many of our customers have successfully used the tiles outdoors (in temperate climates) and as trivets. The backing on the tiles may be removed by simply soaking the tile in water for a few hours. The tile can then be used as an accent tile in a standard tile installation, for instance as a countertop backsplash in a kitchen or bathroom, a fireplace mantle, or elsewhere. These beautiful tiles, in a variety of styles and designs, can add the perfect accent to brighten any home.
